UNIFORM, UNDRESS - Det. Undress Blues-

COVER:
Standard cover with Marine Corps Insignia.
Associate Members wear Sunburst Insignia in place of Marine Corps Insignia.
The Military Order of Devil Dog Patch is worn on the right side of the cover (when authorized) in accordance with MODD regulations.
NOTE: See MCL Officers regarding Detachment &
Life Member embroidery.

WHITE AVIATOR SHIRT:
Short Sleeve with open collar

T-SHIRT/UNDERSHIRT:
White short sleeve with round collar

DEVIL DOG COLLAR:   (optional)
To be worn around the neck under the collar.

NAME TAG, RED:
Worn above the right pocket
COLLAR INSIGNIAS:
Sunburst Insignias worn on both collars with the anchors facing inboard.
Associate Members wear  rectangular MCL Insignias on both collars

RIBBONS:
Either Marine Corps League Ribbons OR  Department of Defense Ribbons (and authorized devices)
NOT to be mixed

SHOULDER PATCHES:
-Marine Corps League Shoulder Patch is worn on your LEFT Sleeve, 1.5" from the shoulder seam
Associate Members wear the same patch WITH a rocker below the League Patch, which says 
"Associate Member"
-US Flag Patch, REVERSED Blue Field (toward the heart) is worn on  your  RIGHT Sleeve, 1.5"
from the shoulder seam
-MODD Shoulder Patch is worn in place of the US Flag patch, by membes of the Order, 1.5" from the shoulder seam.

TROUSERS:
USMC Dress Blue Trousers with Red Blood Strip
Associate Members -- USMC Dress Blue Trousers, NO Blood Strip

BELT:
Khaki, USMC Issue, with open brass buckle

SOCKS:
Black

SHOES:
Black, Bates type shiny with plain toe.
The Marine Corps League expects all members to wear the uniform proudly and correctly.
Remember, that while we are no longer on active duty, we are still MARINES!
FORMAL DRESS UNIFORM 

COVER:
Standard cover with Marine Corps Insignia.
Associate Members wear the Sunburst Insignia in place of the Marine Corps Insignia.
The Military Order of the Devil Dog patch is worn on the right side of the cover (when authorized) in accordance
with MODD regulations.

DEVIL DOG COLLAR:
(optional) - To be worn around the neck under the collar.

TIE:
Bow tie -- black

SHIRT:
White formal (standard collar), small pleated front.
(NO RUFFLES)

CUFF LINKS:
Gold w/ Eagle, Globe & Anchor and Gold Studs

CUMMERBUM:
Gold
OR
VEST:
Gold (only approved design)


TROUSERS:
Black tuxedo -OR- black trousers, with black dress belt
(The dress leather belt with a ratcheting gold Marine Corps emblem buckle is an approved optional dress belt.)

BLAZER, RED
with two (2) Marine Corps League buttons on front and three (3) Marine Corps League buttons on each sleeve cuff may be worn as an option to the Red Evening Dress Jacket with the FORMAL DRESS Uniform. If the Red Blazer option is chosen, the following applies.
-The Marine Corps League Crest on breast pocket is optional if miniature medals are worn.
- Miniature Medals may be worn.
OR
JACKET, RED, EVENING DRESS:
medium weight gabardine material with Marine Corps League buttons, gold waist chain, and sunburst insignias at locating holes in jacket collar.

LAPEL PIN(s):
(optional)

SHOES:
Black plain toe, highly glossed

SOCKS:
Black

OPTIONAL ...
In addition to the Black Tuxedo Trousers worn with the Evening Dress (Mess) Jacket, the wearer may opt to wear the Marine Corps Dress Blue Trousers w/NCO Red Stripe in place of the Black Tuxedo Trousers. 

NOTE: THE MARINE CORPS DRESS BLUE TROUSERS WILL NOT BE WORN WITH THE RED BLAZER AT ANY TIME!

~MCL COVER:
~MARINE & FMF CORPSMEN members wear the GOLD Marine Corps Eagle, Globe and Anchor INSIGNIA on the cover.  




~ASSOCIATE members wear a Star Burst Insignia on the cover with the anchor of the Marine Corps Insignia pointing to the front of the cover (these have a screw post on them for fastening to the cover)





~UN DRESS BLUES: The shoulder patches and collar insignias for this uniform on the WHITE Pilot shirts are the highlights, proper type and placement
~MARINE and FMF CORPSMEN Collar Insignia are the MCL Star Bursts with the Anchors inboard, parallel to the ground , from both collar edges of collar.





~ASSOCIATE members Collar insignia are rectangular GOLD insignia with MCL on them, placed parallel to the ground, ½" from both collar edges.




~MARINE and FMF CORPSMEN members wear a Marine Corps League Patch (no attachment/ rockers) on their LEFT Shoulder, 1" down from the shoulder seam.






~ASSOCIATE members wear a Marine Corps League Patch with an attached ASSOCIATE rocker along the bottom of the patch on their LEFT shoulder, 1½" down from the shoulder seam.







~All members wear a US FLAG (reversed “ Blue Field toward wearer front with a WHITE edge around flag) on their RIGHT shoulder, 1½" down from the shoulder seam.






CASUAL UNIFORM --RED BLAZER

COVER:
Standard cover with Marine Corps Insignia.
Associate Members wear the Sunburst Insignia in place of the Marine Corps Insignia.
The Military Order of the Devil Dog patch is worn on the right side of the cover (when authorized) in accordance
with MODD regulations.

TIE:
Straight black, with Marine Corps or Marine Corps League gold tie bar

SHIRT:
White, plain collar--NO button-down collars.
NO sunburst insignias on collar

BLAZER, RED
with two [2] Marine Corps League buttons on front and [3] Marine Corps League buttons on each sleeve cuff

POCKET CREST
(optional) Marine Corps League worn on breast pocket

DEVIL DOG COLLAR
(optional) to be worn around the neck under the collar
TROUSERS
Black dress trousers, with black dress belt

BELT
Black leather, with Marine Corps emblem on square gold buckle
Optional--black leather dress belt may be worn as a substitute
The dress leather belt with a ratcheting gold Marine Corps emblem buckle is an approved optional dress belt

Black plain toe, [military style] highly glossed
