EAGLE SCOUT "GOOD CITIZENSHIP" AWARD PROGRAM
The Detachment sponsors a program, which recognizes the achievements
of our "leaders of tomorrow".
The Certificate that is presented is a Good Citizenship Award.
It is presented to the Boy Scout who has attained the most significant honor
a boy can earn in the Boy Scouts of America--Eagle Scout.

I just want to sincerely show my gratitude towards your group for giving my brother Vincent Giannone and myself, Joseph, the acclaimed Good Citizens Award yesterday morning (01.03.12) for our Eagle Scout project. I appreciate the time and effort spent to show us an amazing opportunity in our lives. I also want to show my appreciation for the warmth, hospitality and kindness given to us Tuesday morning through a fantastic lunch and service. I didn’t expect for such a grand gesture, but to say the least I was impressed. Your group is filled with fine men, who served our country in any time of need, and helps us know that our Veterans Memorial was made for people like your group.
I want to make a special thank you to Mike Stapleton who helped my brother and I receive this award for our Eagle project and for making the recommendation to your group. Through his passion for our Eagle Scout project and the fire he has for kindness and gratitude, we couldn’t have received this award without him. Again, I want to thank you and your group for everything and the hospitality you showed us.
