~Pedigreed Devil Dog (PPD) is the highest rank & wears a Gold Ribbon
~Devil Dog (DD) is the next lower rand & wears a Red Ribbon
~Pup is the next lower rand & wears a Black Ribbon
The ribbon is worn around the neck and a Dog Tag is attached to it.
Mission Statement:
To promote good fellowship among members of different Marine Corps League Detachments.
The Order, when advisable, provides entertainment & amusement at League gatherings & members are active in MCL fundraisers directed to local charities. Devil Dogs work to preserve and strengthen the principals and ideals of the League and American instutions of freedom.
Membership:
Only the most worthy member of the Marine Corps League are accepted into The Military Order of DEVIL DOGS.
Requirements:
~Applicant must be a paid member in good standing in the Marine Corps League
~Applicant must be active in his/her Detachment
~He/she must request membership in The Order
~He/she must be recommended by the Detachment Commandant
~He/she must be sponsored by two (2) Devil Dogs or Pedigreed Devil Dogs
